The Kyria Senior Leaders Retreat was a good investment as we approached the end of the academic year. I was expectant to reconnect with others and to connect with God—and by the time I left, I had undoubtedly heard from Him. Our facilitator for the day encouraged us to search for the ancient path of partnership with the Holy Spirit so that we could find rest for our souls, guiding us through Scripture with care, affirmation and deep respect for one another’s contributions. We were individually hearing from God while collectively enjoying the opportunity to sit and rest in the presence of Jesus. My time at the Kyria retreat reminded me to examine my life through the eyes of Jesus. I left feeling encouraged in my calling and in my walk with the Lord. Thank you to the Kyria NI team for creating such a welcoming space where I could hear from God, find fresh encouragement, and experience true soul rest.
