About Kyria Scotland

Across Scotland, a growing movement of women is rising to lead, influence and create change.

Women are leading churches, shaping organisations, influencing culture and transforming communities. Through the Kyria Network, they are finding connection, encouragement and a community committed to seeing women flourish in their God-given calling.

Kyria Scotland exists to champion, empower and release women leaders, creating spaces where women are seen, supported and equipped to lead with confidence and purpose.

Here you can discover the people, stories, gatherings and opportunities that make up Kyria across England, and connect with others who share the same heartbeat: to see women released into leadership, free from limitation and rich in opportunity.

Explore, connect and be part of what’s growing.

As the second oldest national entity, Kyria Scotland is headed up by Odele Harding who works one day a week as our Scottish National Lead.

Kyria Scotland hold four values represented through their work:

  • Calling because we believe everyone is called to lead in their specific spheres.
  • Connection because we are committed to helping female leaders connect with others.
  • Cultivation because we want to continue to invest in female leaders.
  • Catalysation because we want to spark and mobilise new ways of leading.

Kyria Scotland Conference

Kyria Scotland Conference runs annually in November which is held in Perthshire.

Through their partnership Fiona Stewart and Fiona Crow, have produced a collaborative worship song and a soundscape using words and sounds from the delegates which you can listen to here.

Cymbrogi Groups

CYMBROGI is the celtic word meaning ‘companions of the heart’. The idea of these groups is to get to the heart of leadership. We run these smaller groups on a monthly basis for six months from Jan-June. The idea of the groups is to live out the values we hold and connect leaders as they continue on their leadership call. Our hope is that this environment will be a catalyst and place of cultivation.

The topics which are covered in the sessions are:

  • Calling: what does it mean to be called by God and called into a leadership role
  • Culture: how can we build healthy cultures in the leadership contexts we operate in?
  • Conflict and Diversity: how do we handle and work through conflict situations and where can we continue to grow in embracing diversity?
  • Character: so much of the time leadership is built on being more like Jesus and so how do we become leaders of greater integrity, generosity and humility?
  • Failure: so often we learn from our mistakes but how do we do this in a healthy way and not condemn ourselves when we get something wrong in our leadership?
  • Challenge: ultimately, being a leader is a challenge so how do we develop the tools we need to continue to face challenges in and through our leadership journeys.

The format of each session includes an examen at the start and end, shared content from a speaker, opportunity for discussion, questions, prayer and when we meet in person we try to have extended times of worship and fellowship.

Leadership Conversations

In 2026 we launched bespoke evenings for ‘marketplace’ leaders so we can continue to extend our reach with leaders across Scotland. The heart behind these evenings is to not only connect and network with new female leaders in the marketplace but to also intentionally do this in areas of Scotland where we have not seen as much engagement. Our hope and prayer is that interactions with these new leaders will lead to more relational connections.

Stories from Kyria Scotland

I have found it so refreshing every time I have attended the Kyria Scotland Conference. I am so grateful for Kyria Scotland because they have prepared me, encouraged me and called out leadership in me. I am so thankful for Kyria Scotland but I recognise there is still a need for more women to be validated in their leadership roles across Scotland and so the need for this work continues to be great.

Athena Carnaghan

It has been wonderful to be part of Cymbrogi, to journey alongside other inspiring women as we share our experiences and pray for one another. I've really enjoyed hearing from different speakers who have shared their wisdom and it's challenged me in positive ways. It feels like your part of a great big hug and I feel so grateful!

Jade Ableitner

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with Kyria Scotland! It was my first time at the Leadership Conversations programme and what a great night with like-minded ladies discussing culture, values and faith in the workplace. A thought—provoking and encouraging time to invest in ourselves as female leaders and I can’t wait to attend again!

Sara Copeland

I can’t encourage you more to get involved. I have felt for the last 4 years that I have had a community of women who I can ask questions to and go to fo guy r support. Leadership can feel like a really lonely place for a women but Kyria has given me a company of women who I can learn from.
